
Dumpling Club is a low-key, high-reward gathering where we make vegetarian dumplings from scratch, cook them ourselves, eat them together, and send everyone home with extras for their next meal (or to casually brag about).
There’s no audience other than your belly.
Just flour on the counter, fillings on the table, hands folding side-by-side, steam rising, and the quiet satisfaction of eating something you actually made that would make your grandmas proud.
You bring your appetite.
You make your own dumplings.
You cook and eat your own dumplings.
We gather.
And yes, take-home dumplings are non-negotiable.
Dumpling Club is about making dumplings. Everything else is secondary.
Vegetarian dumplings only. Occasionally gluten-free. Various forms and shapes, loosely called dumpling. Rotating cultures. Savory and sweet included.
Dumplings are made from scratch which takes time. Even wrappers will be from scratch (unless we decided to cheat). Instructions will be provided.
The menu is set by the group attending each session. Suggestions encouraged. Final call is mine as I will be gathering the ingredients and tools for the sesh.
You make your own dumplings. Guidance provided.
You cook your own dumplings and eat the dumplings you made. This is the reward.
We eat together. Phones rest. (Photos for bragging permitted.)
Everyone leaves with dumplings (Bring a container).

Dumpling Club is for friends-and-family only. Invite your dumpling-enthusiasts friends to join.
Sessions are announced by email with date and location.
When one opens, you raise your (virtual) hand and claim a spot.
Small groups (6ish). First to respond gets in.
Most sessions are hosted in Columbia County, NY.
Occasionally, a larger space may appear.
If you’re on the list, you’ll hear about it.
